UKRAINE • Pechatniy Mir (Print World) buys two additional MPS label presses. The nine- and ten-colour printing press with a width of 370 mm (14.56”) are the second and third MPS EB press for company which is based in Zaporozhye. All three sales were led through the local MPS agent Polygraph Partner.
According to the company, Pechatniy is the only Ukraine printer offering offset and flexo printing, and is specialized in label printing for food, beverage and household labels. The increased demand for wine and spirits labels influenced the decision to invest in two additional EB presses in order to expand capacity, in addition to the ability of printing intricate labels on shorter runs. The ten-colour press will be equipped with the MPS cross-over unit for easier production of multi-layer labels. The intalled printing presses are used for a label production 24 hours a day.
