THE NETHERLANDS • The Twinlock product division of Polymount with headquarters in Nijkerk has become a 100% subsidiary of tesa SE.
As a result, the manufacturer of adhesive tapes and self-adhesive system solutions is able to strengthen its market position relating to products for the printing industry, one of the pillars of tesa’s industrial business. “The self-adhesive Twinlock Sleeves from Polymount optimally complement our existing tesa range for the flexo printing industry,” says Dr Norman Goldberg, head of direct industries at tesa SE. “This makes it easier for us to tap into the full potential of the segment.”
Polymount started in 2002 with the self-adhesive Twinlock sleeve, based on the method of mounting printing plates on sleeves and cylinders without the use of double-sided adhesive tapes. With its 70 employees, in 2017, it generated sales of around EUR 18.5 million. The company has its own sales offices in strategic locations globally and its products are distributed in more than 80 countries.
