THE NETHERLANDS • Following the integration of the printing press businesses of Goss International and manroland, Contiweb will become a separate company under the ownership of American Industrial Partners with operations headquartered in Boxmeer.
After being a subsidiary of Goss for almost 15 years, the renowned specialist in technologies for drying and web-handling products for printing, Contiweb will continue as press supplier for packaging and label applications and ancillary supplier for commercial and digital inkjet printing applications. Until transaction close, sales and service channels will remain unchanged.
On 1 March 2018, Goss International’s printing press business and manroland announced the plan to combine their businesses. Both are manufacturers and service providers of web offset printing systems for newspapers, commercial products and packaging. Subject to regulatory approval, the merger is expected to be completed by the middle of 2018. The Contiweb business of Goss International is not included in this transaction.
