USA • Global anilox roll supplier Harper Corporation of America announced that company President Lee Kluttz received the Clemson/Treadaway Commitment to Progress Award during Clemson’s 27th Annual Department of Graphic Communications Honor & Awards Banquet on 28 March 2018.
This award is presented to an industry professional who has consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty to support the faculty and students in Clemson’s Graphic Communications Programme over a prolonged period of time. Harper’s president Kluttz was chosen by the faculty to receive this award, which was previously known as the Clemson Graphic Arts Society Award (CGAS). It was later renamed the Clemson/Treadaway Commitment to Progress Award in honour of Bill Treadaway, the first recipient of the award.
Currently the anilox supplier is also holding its new Harper Expo & Solutions Tour 2017 in the USA. This one-day seminar and expo will feature guest speakers from the flexo industry and exhibits from industry co-suppliers. According to Harper, its technical presentations aim to bring printers and converters solutions to their current pressroom challenges. Topics covered include anilox troubleshooting solutions, press workflow solutions or how to clean an anilox. Taking place on different locations in the US from April to October the roadshow event is free of charge for printers and converters. Registration and the full programme is available at the company’s website.
