SINGAPUR • UK-based Meech Static Eliminators has opened an office in Singapore to provide local support to its distributors and increase sales of its web cleaning, static control and Meech Air Technology (MAT) systems in Southeast Asia. The company has appointed Melvyn Chan as sales and operations director to drive sales and manage operations across the region.
Opened 1 November 2017, Meech International (Singapore) will support sales in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, and Brunei.
The new head, Melvyn Chan, has spent about twelve years working for a local distributor. According to the company, Chan has extensive knowledge of the plastics, packaging, print and converting industries, among others.
