SOUTH AFRICA • Rebsons Labels, a family-owned business, moves into digital label printing with their purchase of a Nilpeter Panorama line. According to the company this is the first of its kind in Africa and is set to meet the growing demand for digitally printed labels.
“There is a constant and ever growing demand for digitally printed labels; run-lengths are getting shorter, and customers require variable data on labels and demand shorter delivery times,” says Benny Friedmann from Rebsons Labels. According to him, the new line allows them to “reduce production time and stock holding of variants, and enables [them] to print on demand and improve cash flow”.
