CZECH REPUBLIC • The label converter Tiskárna Caizl has installed a five-colour semi-rotary offset press by Orthotec. The new Orthotec FT3536 is planned for the production of premium multi-layer labels and is the second line from Orthotec.
The new offset label press features glue-side flexo printing, cold-stamp, multi-layer lamination station, flexo varnish, and rotary die-cutting. According to the company, the new press is easy-to-use, and runs at high speed with precise registration.
Tiskárna Caizl, one of the major label converters in Czech Republic, was looking for a “semi-rotary offset press with capability to finish multi-layer printing and converting in one pass for a very long time”, so says technical director Jan Chaloupek.
The first Orthotec line a two-colour screen printing machine, Orthotec SRN3030, was installed in 2015.
