USA / ISRAEL • Sun Chemical and HP Indigo Division are collaborating in order to develop a range of low-cost digital coatings with the aim to facilitate packaging applications to be printed digitally. The digital coatings developed under the partnership are intended to support various brand owners, converters and printers, including overprint varnishes and adhesives that are customised to complement digital solutions. In a separate development, HP Indigo has also partnered with Dow Packaging & Specialty Plastics business to speed up innovation in the flexible packaging sector.
