UK • Reflex Labels ordered another five MPS EF multi-substrate flexo presses for label and packaging production. The machines intended for the Label Plus division of the business will be equipped with multiple screen units, cold foiling and the hot foiling system Flowman from Pantec in Switzerland.
Specifications of the ordered presses are: one eight colour press with 430 mm, two nine colour presses with 520 mm and two 430 mm wide ten colour presses complete with automated print control (APC) Packages, providing automated servo control of all relevant press settings.
The machines will also be equipped with laminating and booklet equipment that can be moved from press to press featured by the Ultraflex system. According Ian Kendall, CEO of Reflex Label, one reason for this decision was the integrated waste reduction and high flexibility.
